The Cleve J. Fredricksen Library has been an essential resource which has opened doors to the future for children and adults who live within the six municipalities it serves. Every year, thousands of loyal and enthusiastic patrons pass through its doors to access books, programs, and services to promote literacy, employment, knowledge and skill building. With the rapid need for change, Fredricksen Library is embarking on a campaign to raise $600,000 to continue its mission. This effort will enable the construction of a Lower Level Entrance and a main level Business & Career Center. Together, we will continue to OPEN DOORS to exciting opportunities for all current and future patrons.

Lower Level Entrance: The new lower level entrance enhances accessibility to Fredricksen’s lower level offerings, such as activities in the Ruggaber Community Room, Pollock Children’s Library, meeting spaces, or Coffee Corner. It is an essential upgrade for those with mobility issues or families with young children, offering direct access for strollers and wheelchairs. The beautiful garden plaza walkway along the front of the building will offer an enjoyable stroll, or place for rest and contemplation.

Business & Career Center: The region’s hub for workforce development is NOW OPEN at Fredricksen Library, in the form of the Business & Career Center @ Fredricksen (BCC). The BCC will offer future-forward programming in career readiness, such as skills development, technology, entrepreneurship and mentoring offerings. The BCC will also feature cutting edge technology for educational advancement, digital learning, and networking. Your future starts here!  GET MORE INFORMATION HERE
