Winter Reading ChallengeThe 2022 Winter Reading Challenge is for adults and teens (grades 6-12) and runs for 8 weeks, from January 21 through  March 18. The challenge? Read six books from at least three genres. Participants receive a small gift and entry for a chance to win one of three Amazon gift cards. Pick up a printed reading log or record your books on the Beanstack website or app. 

Winter Book SaleJanuary 26 through 29 in the lower level of Amelia Givin Library. Stop by to browse through a large selection of books, audiobooks, music CDs and DVDs for all ages. Cash, check and credit cards accepted.

Coffee For SaleThe reviews are in and our coffee is yummy! The Amelia Givin Library is selling one-pound bags of ground coffee for $13 as a fundraiser. Choose from a variety of flavors!

 

Online ResearchYou can take advantage of library online resources 24/7. The Cumberland County Library System provides free access to dozens of databases for news, research and activities. Your library card also gives you access to the online archives of newspapers and magazines.

Tutor.comTutor.com is for all ages and is available for free from Noon to Midnight, seven days a week! It provides access to live, online tutoring for K-12 and college students who need help with homework, studying and test prep. It is also for adults who need help with resume preparation and job searches.

Curbside Pick UpWhen you place items on hold for delivery to Amelia Givin Library, you have the option to pick up your items at curbside. Place items on hold online or by phone, and pick them up at the library side entrance when they are ready. Click above for full instructions.
