Closed for Independence Day WeekendThe Amelia Givin Library will be closed from Saturday, July 2 through Monday, July 4 for the Independence Day weekend. No items will be due, no fines will accrue and no holds will expire on these days. The library will reopen on Tuesday, July 5 at 10 am.

Board Opening
The Amelia Givin Library has a current opening on our Library Board of Trustees. This volunteer group is responsible for the success of the library, both now and in the future.  Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 pm and participation on committees is necessary. Experience with other community non-profits a plus! Summer StorytimesJoin us for in-person storytimes for children. Sessions will be held in the library lower level on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Click here for the summer schedule and age recommendations. 

Project Share Summer FeedingEvery Friday through August 12 from 9 am to 11 am in the Amelia Givin Library parking lot! Click here to sign up in advance. Project SHARE provides free nutritious meals for kids up to age 18 in a drive-thru style at several locations in Cumberland County.
