Board Opening
The Amelia Givin Library has a current opening on our Library Board of Trustees. This volunteer group is responsible for the success of the library, both now and in the future.  Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 pm and participation on committees is necessary. Experience with other community non-profits a plus! Summer StorytimesJoin us for in-person storytimes for children. Sessions will be held in the library lower level on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Click here for the summer schedule and age recommendations.  PLEASE NOTE: There are no storytimes from May 23 through June 3.

Project Share Summer FeedingWeekly from June 10 through August 12 - Every Friday from 9 am to 11 am in the Amelia Givin Library parking lot! Attention Parents! Project Share is providing free nutritious meals for kids up to age 18 in a drive-thru style at several locations in Cumberland County. County Historical Society PlaqueOn Monday February 21, the Amelia Givin Library received the official plaque recognizing the library's addition to the Cumberland County Register of Historic Places.
