Italian DinnerJoin us for a unique dining experience in the warm ambiance of our historic library. This yearly fundraiser is always a lovely evening of great food and company. Seating is limited so request tickets soon. Payment is required at time of reservation. Price per person is $40.

Holiday Open HouseSaturday, December 11 from 1 to 3 pm. Stop in to see the historic building decked out for the holidays! There will be a train display, a children's craft, hot chocolate, cookies, and a chance to win door prizes. Santa arrives at The Santa House located on the library front lawn at 1 pm. 

Holiday Cookie SaleThe library lower level will be filled with tables laden with dozens and dozens of cookies! Make your choices and Friends volunteers will fill containers for you. A small containers is $6. Large containers are $12. SALE HOURS are Wed 4-7 pm, Thurs 10 am-7 pm, Fri 10 am until sold out. Please enter the lower level of the library using the ramp at the back parking lot. ​​​Face masks are required.

Santa HouseSanta will visit The Santa House (located on the front grounds of the library) on:

2021 Ornament$9 each at the library front desk. The 2021 etched wood Amelia Givin Library ornament depicts the ornate moorish fretwork door panels. This ornament makes a thoughtful gift for friends and family. Quantities are limited! Stop by the library to get yours soon!

Coffee For SaleThe reviews are in and our coffee is yummy! The Amelia Givin Library is selling one-pound bags of ground coffee for $13 as a fundraiser. Choose from a variety of flavors!


Cowdance SoapA perfect gift or stocking stuffer! Bars of specialty soap from Cowdance Soap for $6 each. Blackberry, Honey Almond and Lemongrass are just a few of the available fragrances. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Amelia Givin Library.

Online ResearchYou can take advantage of library online resources 24/7. The Cumberland County Library System provides free access to dozens of databases for news, research and activities. Your library card also gives you access to the online archives of newspapers and magazines.
