Leap Year Movie NightWatch the movie LEAP YEAR on LEAP DAY! What better way to celebrate this extra day that comes only every four years! Bring your lawn chair or use one of our folding chairs to watch the movie in the library lower level. Our popcorn machine will be popping, and sodas and candy will be provided. Bring a date or grab your best friend…this fun, sweet movie will be enjoyed by everyone! This free program is for adults & teens (14+).  Click here to register.

Stories from HomeTurn your cherished memories, both big and small, into meaningful stories to pass down generation to generation or seek publication with your personal anecdotes. Author and educator Sarah Clayville will walk participants through the process of writing personal narrative stories from inspiration to polishing final drafts as well as guidance on sharing your work. Attendees will have a chance to win a copy of Sarah’s new book, Delilah and the Cracked Cauldron. This program is for adults & teens (ages 14+).  Click here to register.


Ornament and T-ShirtT-Shirts ($8) and Ornaments ($15) commemorating the 150-year history of Mt. Holly Springs are available at the library front desk. T-shirts are available in sizes S-M-L-XL-2XL-3XL while supplies last. 

Winter Reading ProgramReady for a game of TIC-TAC-TOE? Stop by the library front desk and pick up a reading challenge packet (for adults and teens in grades 6+). It includes a tic-tac-toe game board with a different book description in each square. When you read three books in a row, you can submit your game card for a treat, plus be entered in two prize drawings.

StorytimesClick here to view the storytime schedule and age recommendations. No registration is required for storytimes. Use the downhill ramp from the parking lot to enter the lower level of the library for storytimes.


Mug and CoffeeMugs are $9 each. Each one-pound bag of ground coffee is $13. Choose from a variety of flavors, including Blueberry Crumble, French Vanilla, Hot Fudge, Jamaican Me Awesome, Raspberry and Salted Caramel. Drink good coffee. Read good books!

Cowdance SoapBars of specialty soap from Cowdance Soap for $6 each. Honey Almond, Lemongrass and North Woods are just a few of the available fragrances. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Amelia Givin Library. is for all ages and is available for free from Noon to Midnight, seven days a week! It provides access to live, online tutoring for K-12 and college students who need help with homework, studying and test prep. It is also for adults who need help with resume preparation and job searches.
