Become a part of Fredricksen Reads, our series of book discussions. This month's choice is a thoroughly engrossing look in to the closed world of the Amish, as well as a thought-provoking examination of “civilization” and what remains if the center cannot hold. You must have read or listened to the book to participate. Register online. 

No-No Boy Multimedia Concert

Tuesday, September 25 at 7 pm

No-No Boy is a multimedia concert performed by Julian Saporiti and Erin Aoyama. Taking inspiration from interviews with World War II Japanese American concentration camp survivors, his own family history living through the Vietnam War, and many other stories of Asian American experience, Saporiti has transformed his doctoral research at Brown University into folk songs in an effort to bring these stories to a broader audience. 

Friends of Fredricksen Book and Media Sale

Come and shop the Friends of Fredricksen Fall Book and Media Sale! There will be a wide variety of books, media, games and puzzles as well as a large Children's book sale upstairs in our atrium.  All proceeds benefit the library.  Daily sale hours can be found here.
