Talk with a climate scientist face-to-face on Thursday, August 8th at 6:30 pm here at the library! Climate Up Close is a group of climate scientists who believe Americans should reach their own judgments about climate science by seeing the evidence for themselves & putting their questions directly to climate scientists. Summer Learning Program: A Universe of Stories

We are now beginning registration for our Summer Learning Programs! Our programs and performances will be based off of this year’s theme of A Universe of Stories. Police Chief Meet & Greet

Have you met Shippensburg’s new police chief yet? Chief Meredith Dominick is holding a meet and greet here at the library on Wednesday, August 14th at 2:00 pm! All ages are welcome. If you don’t want to miss this opportunity, sign up now!

SmartALEC Printing Service

Using our new SmartALEC service, you are now able to upload your documents from any device and then print your documents at any Cumberland County Library. Your documents will be stored in our queue for up to 7 days, allowing you to print them at a later date.  Printing costs $.25 per page. Learn more here.

Kanopy Streaming Service

Patrons with Cumberland County Library Cards are now able to stream 4 movies a month from Kanopy, our new media streaming service. Films can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device, or platform by downloading the Kanopy app. Kanopy KIDS is also available now! Click here for more instructions.

A Summer Read Book Talk

Join us for a stimulating book discussion on A Mother's Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy by Sue Klebold on Monday, July 29th at 6:00 pm. Mother of one of the Columbine shooters, Sue talks about the importance of mental health awareness and intervention. Register here now!
