Children and Teen Events

programWe are excited to begin offering limited in-person Youth Services programs at the library! Each in-person program will be limited in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines, masks will be required, and registration will be required for the six week session. We need your help to successfully offer these programs to you and your family by following the necessary guidelines!

Youth Services Programs

*In-Person Programs: limited attendance, masks required, and registration required*

b Baby and Me: Ages 0-2; Tuesdays 9/15-10/20, 9:30 am
Join us for a program designed specifically for infants up through age 2! During this 20 minute program we will play, sing, do fingerplays, and sometimes read a short board book. Baby and Me is designed for parents/caregivers to participate in the activities with their child(ren).

b Toddler Storytime: Ages 2-3; Wednesdays 9/16-10/21, 10:00 am
Join us for Toddler Storytimes! We’ll read 1-2 short picture books, and finish with fun songs! Toddler Storytimes are designed for parents/caregivers to participate in the storytime activities with their child(ren).

b Books & Boots: Ages 2-4; Tuesday 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 10:45 am
Join us for an outdoor storytime about nature, bring your boots and be ready to explore! Rain or shine, plan for the weather!

b Preschool Storytime: Ages 4-5; Fridays 9/18-10/23, 10:00 am
Come on out for Preschool Storytimes! We’ll read 2 picture books, and finish with fun activities!

b Elementary Storytime: Ages 6-9; Thursday 9/24, 10/8, 10/22, 5:00 pm
Join us for our storytime designed especially for school-aged children! We’ll read 1-2 books and finish with an activity!

b Homeschool Workshop: Ages 6-16; 9/24, 10/15, 10:00 am
These enrichment workshops offer students a time to come together and explore a variety of topics.

b American Girl: Ages 6-12
Each month we explore the life and times of an American Girl

b Passport to the World: Ages 6-12
Come explore countries around the world!

b STEAM: Ages 6-12
Through fascinating experiments, engaging activities, and fun crafts, we’ll explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math!

b Lego Club: Ages 5-12; Tuesday 10/13 6:00 pm
Whether you’re a novice or a Lego Master Builder, join us and construct your masterpiece.

b Lego Challenge: Ages 5-12; Thursday 10/1 6:00 pm
Join us for a monthly Lego time to see if you can build to meet the challenge!

b Read to Dogs: Ages 6-12; Tuesday 10/20 6:00 pm
Grab some books and have fun taking turns reading to our adorable, furry friends!

 

Teens

b Teen Scene: Ages 12-18; 9/16, 10/7, 10/28, 3:00-4:00 pm
Hangout and enjoy activities such as games and more!
