Unearth a Story with Simpson's Summer Learning Program this summer! Children, birth through entering fifth grade, will earn online badges and prizes for reading and participating in programs and activities from June 1 - August 15.

You will earn an online reading badge and a prize each time you read and log 150 minutes

…AND....

an online activities badge and a prize each time you complete four of the eight activities listed for each badge.

Reading and activities should be done from June 1 - August 15.

Starting June 1, each time you earn a badge for reading or doing activities, you will receive a prize. The goal is to earn sixteen badges from reading, doing activities, or a combination of both throughout the summer. Pick up your prizes at the Children's Corner circulation desk on the Lower Level of the library.

Paper logs found in this year's booklet may be used for children to keep track of their reading and activities, but information must be entered into Beanstack in order to receive prizes. Need help with Beanstack? Bring your booklet into the library, and we can help you record your reading and activities.

There are many activities from which to choose, including a number of library events and programs, which we encourage you to attend. Download a flyer with all the fun events for children! 

All reading and activities must be logged into Beanstack no later than August 15, 2026 in order to receive prizes (while supplies last).

The top three readers with the most minutes read by midnight of August 15 will get a free book and other fun prizes!
