Annual Appeal

Joseph T. Simpson Public Library Annual Appeal

Dear Neighbor,

As Cumberland County continues to grow, more of our neighbors are turning to Joseph T. Simpson Public Library for knowledge, enrichment, entertainment, and connection.

Last year, we loaned out 585,759 items because of generous donors like you. For more information on your impact, read our 2025 Annual Report.

More people than ever are walking through our doors to attend programs, meet up with clubs and organizations, and check out materials for all ages and interests. Libraries open the door to a lifetime of opportunity, and with your support, Simpson Library will continue to be a trusted source and inspiration for lifelong engagement for Mechanicsburg.

Our new Learning and Book Sale Center building at 45 W. Allen Street also gives us much-needed space for the Friends' Book Sales, library programs, community meetings, and other events. However, it also comes with additional financial responsibilities. As our reach and impact grow, your support is more important than ever.

Please consider making a donation today. Your tax-deductible, end-of-year gift will ensure we can continue to meet the needs of our ever-growing community by offering fun and educational programs, enriching resources, and a welcoming space for all.

Thank you for being a valued supporter of Joseph T. Simpson Public Library.

Sincerely,

Dawna Trump, Development Coordinator
