CBD Seminar

Join Dr. Wayne Myers on Thursday, September 19th at 6:00 pm at the Coy Public Library Community Room as he explains the history of CBD oil, how it works, and what you need to know when buying and using it. You will want to attend this seminar if you or a loved one struggles with chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, migraines, fibromyalgia, or depression. Seating is limited. Be sure to reserve your spot!

One Book, Your Vote

Through August 31st, you can cast your vote for the One Book, One Community title for 2020! For the list of titles and more information, click here. The winner will be announced to the public in November 2019. Multiple copies of the winning title will be available at our library beginning in January 2020. SmartALEC Printing Service

Using our new SmartALEC service, you are now able to upload your documents from any device and then print your documents at any Cumberland County Library. Your documents will be stored in our queue for up to 7 days, allowing you to print them at a later date.  Printing costs $.25 per page. Learn more here.

Kanopy Streaming Service

Patrons with Cumberland County Library Cards are now able to stream 4 movies a month from Kanopy, our new media streaming service. Films can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device, or platform by downloading the Kanopy app. Kanopy KIDS is also available now! Click here for more instructions.

GIANT Giving Tag Program

Looking for an easy way to go green? Pick up a few $2.50 reusable Bags 4 My Cause Bags at any GIANT store. Each bag helps reduce paper and plastic bag use, and you can use the attached Giving Tag to direct a $1 donation to the Shippensburg Public Library. A warm thanks to those who participate!
