Book Reviews

Book Jacket

Book reviews are held on the second Tuesday of the month from September through May in Foundation Hall at 10:30 AM. On March 12, Mr. Charles Stone will review Something Wonderful--Rodgers and Hammerstein's Broadway Revolution by Todd Purdum.   No fee or registration. Brochures describing each month's book title and reviewer are available here or in the library.  

2019 Adult Winter Reading

Book passage and choose your Itinerary by signing up at the Reference Desk for the Winter Reading Club. Return your itinerary card to the Reference Desk by March 16th to be entered into a raffle drawing for final prizes.  The Winter Reading Program runs from February 4th until March 16th. 

Cultural Series @ New Cumberland

Joe Baker, PennDot archaeologist, will present a cultural history of the Native Americans of the Susquehanna Valley up to the time of the Conestoga Massacre in 1763.

The Friends of New Cumberland Public Library sponsor Native American Culture in Foundation Hall, on Sunday, March 10th, from 3:00—4:00 PM.  No registration and no fee. Everyone is invited.
