Make a Bequest

Your gift of time or money will help the New Cumberland Public Library continue to provide valued quality library services for generations to come. Bequests can be made in the form of cash or property or a percentage of the remainder of an estate. The latter allows more flexibility in planning. The following language is an effective way to make bequests to the New Cumberland Public Library:

I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Trustees of the New Cumberland Public Library, a nonprofit corporation, organized and operating under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the sum of $___ or "the rest, residue and remainder of my estate: to be used for the general purposes of the New Cumberland Public Library "or for a particular program of your choosing".

Volunteer Your Time

The New Cumberland Public Library welcomes volunteers of all ages. Volunteers help with shelving books, preparing new materials for circulation, assisting with special events, mending materials, and helping to dust and garden. Tell us about your unique skills and interests, and we’ll find a volunteer role for you at the Library.

Volunteer training is provided and a mutually convenient schedule can be arranged. Please pick up a volunteer application at the Main Desk of the Library.
