The Bookery is now located in the newly renovated historic East Wing of Bosler Library.

Exceptions to the Above Hours: The Bookery is closed if the library is closed for holidays, bad weather, power outages, etc. The Bookery is closed the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.

The Friends of Bosler Memorial Library officially opened their used book store "The Bookery" in April 1998. A wide variety of used items can be found in The Bookery, including fiction, non-fiction, and children's books, audio books on CD, music on CD, movies on DVD, magazines, artwork, puzzles, and games. Some new items are also sold, such as books by local authors, note cards, and handcrafts donated by local crafters. Items are offered for sale at a reasonable cost.

The Bookery and the Bosler Memorial Library welcome donations of new or gently used books, Music CDs, or Movie DVDs in good condition. Please review the guidelines below in regards to donating materials to the Bookery.

Please note, the following items are not accepted as donations:

• Damaged books
• Condensed books
• Textbooks more than 5 years old
• Cassette tapes
• Encyclopedias
• VHS tapes
• Magazines more than 3 months old
• Vinyl records

Book donations for the Bookery can be taken directly to the Bookery during The Bookery's normal business hours (posted above). If assistance is needed please call the Bookery at (717) 243-3313. If your donation is larger than 5 medium boxes please contact the Bookery in advance to make arrangements.

If you would like a receipt for tax purposes for items you donate, please count the items in your donation prior to bringing the donation to The Bookery. You need to know how many items you are donating in each of the following categories: hardback books, paperback books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, games. Upon request, The Bookery will give you a receipt acknowledging your donation of the number of items you bring us in each category.
