The Friends of the New Cumberland Public Library will present the Cultural Program on Sunday,March 10th in Foundation Hall from 3:00-4:00 pm. 

Joe Baker, PennDot archaeologist, will present a culture history of Native Americans of the Susquehanna Valley up to the time of the Conestoga Massacre in 1763.

New Cumberland Library has received materials from The Office of Commonwealth Libraries to start a series of Play K programs for children and their adults through the Cruise into Kindergarten program grant.  The Play curriculum allows children entering kindergarten at Hillside Elementary* in the fall of 2017 to participate in kindergarten readiness activities, hear stories, have parachute fun, and work with colors, numbers, letters, sorting, rhyming and science.
