System Headquarters Office
While the System Headquarters Office does not provide direct service to the public, the Office does provide services to its member libraries in the following areas:
- Information technology
- Technical services (acquisitions, cataloging, processing of library materials)
- STAR outreach services to older adults
- Training services for staff and board members
- Administrative and financial services, including fundraising support
The Cumberland County Library System (CCLS) consists of 7 federated local libraries, 1 branch facility, a system headquarters office and an associated non-profit Cumberland County Library System Foundation. The library system provides service to more than 260,000 people in Cumberland County and a small portion of Franklin County.
Member libraries include:
- Amelia Givin Library in Mt. Holly Springs, PA
- Bosler Memorial Library in Carlisle, PA
- Coy Public Library in Shippensburg, PA
- East Pennsboro Branch in Enola, PA
- Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill, PA
- John Graham Library in Newville, PA
- New Cumberland Public Library
- Simpson Library in Mechanicsburg, PA
Gov. Josh Shapiro appointed Bosler Memorial Library Board President Lu Conser to the council Feb. 19 for a four-year term. She is one of three trustees in the group, which also includes six professional librarians and three laypersons, for a total of 12 members.

This year's top five fundraising organizations were Project SHARE, Community CARES, CWS Harrisburg, Bosler Memorial Library and Safe Harbour, who each raised more than $50,000, according to a news release.
