Fall FestivalFor all ages! Children, teens and adults are invited to stop by between 10 am and 12 Noon for crafts, snacks, photo stations, scarecrow making, and games, including cornhole and two cake walks (11 am cupcake walk for children, 11:30 am cake walk for adults and teens). Registration is not required for the festival, but please click here to register your family to make a scarecrow. For complete festival details, click here.

FALL FESTIVAL FOR ALL AGES - 10 AM TO 12 NOON

You do not need to register to attend the fall festival but you must register to make a scarecrow.  

MAKE A SCARECROW - Please register so were are sure to have enough materials. Please provide a flannel shirt to dress your scarecrow. Other supplies will be provided. One scarecrow per family.

11:00 am Cupcake Walk (children)
11:30 am Cake Walk (adults and teens)
If you would like to donate a cake or cupcakes, please let us know! Register here! We are looking for a total of six cakes and 5 dozen cupcakes. Cakes and cupcakes may be dropped off at the library Thursday, 9/28, Friday, 9/29 or brought to the fall festival prior to the cupcake/cake walk.

Cookie DecoratingCost: $10. Join us at the library for an introduction to the basics of decorating cookies with royal icing. Everything you need to decorate 2-3 cookies will be provided, including a container to take them home with you. For adults only - ages 18+.  Instruction provided by Eve Baum of Beehive Cookie Co. (Note: Actual cookie designs may vary from those pictured.) Space is limited! BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • All bidders must create an account with 32auctions to bid on items listed.
  • “Minimum Bids” exist where applicable. Bids below the minimum will not be accepted.
  • You can bid using an exact bid or a proxy bid. AN EXACT BID is the amount you want the item's current selling price to immediately jump to. Your bid amount will not change as additional bids from other people are entered on the item. A PROXY BID allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item.

NOTES FOR WINNING BIDDERS:

  • If you are a winning bidder, you will receive an email confirmation of your win.
  • Items will NOT be available for pick up the two days immediately after the auction ends. You may pick up your items beginning WEDNESDAY, November 1.
  • Payment may be made at the library using cash, check or credit card.
  • Items must be picked up by Wednesday, November 29 or they will be offered to the next highest bidder.

 

AUCTION DONATIONS

Everyone can help! Please consider donating an item to the auction. Ideas include gift cards, handcrafted items, gift baskets or vouchers for services or homemade baked goods. Please spread the word to friends, neighbors and relatives that the library is welcoming auction donations through October 1. Have an idea or question? Holiday Cookie SaleThe library lower level will be filled with tables laden with dozens and dozens of cookies! Make your choices and Friends volunteers will fill containers for you. A small containers is $6. Large containers are $12.

Holiday Open HouseSaturday, December 16 from 1 to 3 pm. Stop in to see the historic building decked out for the holidays! There will be a train display, a children's craft, hot chocolate, cookies, and a chance to win door prizes. Santa arrives at The Santa House located on the library front lawn at 1 pm.
