Open Stage presents a delightful, family-friendly adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, faithful to the original text yet brought to life with humor, imagination, and heart.
This inventive two-actor version uses live Foley sound effects and quick character transformations to tell the story of Scrooge and his journey with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. It’s a lively, heartfelt, and true-to-Dickens retelling of redemption and joy—perfect for audiences of all ages.

There’s something fun for everyone in the library’s stash of board games, card games, and other tabletop games. Or you can bring a favorite from home. Meet and play with other gamers or bring friends and family for an afternoon of logic, strategy, and fun. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. No registration necessary.
3:30 PM – 5:15 PM in the Community Room
Join your neighbors for a cozy afternoon at the library for cookies, hot chocolate, and classic holiday television specials (Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudoph, and Frosty!) before bundling up to walk down to the tree lighting event with Camp Hill Borough.
All ages! No registration is required.

5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Plot Twisters is a dynamic writing group for teens. Open to writers of fiction, fan fiction, manga, poetry and more. Group members share works in progress and encourage each other to stay on track with writing goals. 5:30 – 6:00 is for socializing; writing sharing/criticism begins at 6:00pm. This program is for teens ages 13-18. No registration is required.

Express your activism through crafts! In each session we will talk about civic engagement and empowerment and then you will create something to express your own cause.
