Rail Roads in Civil War Strategy with Ulysses S. Grant

Join us on September 27 at 6:00pm for a living history portrayal of Grant and get a chance to talk TO history!

In this performance, General Grant will share his own experiences with trains and railroading from his youth through becoming the victor of the civil war through stories and artifacts from the period.

This is sure to be a must-see event for Civil War and Railroad Enthusiasts alike!

Teen Creativity Workshop

9 am - 1 pm in the Kunkel Creation Station
TeenTober continues with this special creativity workshop. Grab your friends, bring your projects and meet us on the Lower Level. We'll have breakfast and take time to complete all kinds of creative projects - writing, painting, Halloween costume creation and more. This program is for teens ages 13 - 18. Registration is open.

After Hours Escape Room

6 pm - 7:30 pm Upper Lobby
As part of TeenTober, we'll have an After Hours Escape Room in the library. TeenTober heads back to the 80s with our Stranger Things themed Escape Room. You have 60 minutes to solve the clues and escape. Pizza dinner will follow. Cosplay - general 1980s and Stranger Things inspired - is encouraged. This program is for teens ages 13-18. Registration is open.
