Students in grades 4-8 will create spooktacular sweets in this "Nailed-It" style decorating contest! Participants will be broken up into teams of 2 and given 45 spine-tingling minutes to recreate several frightening foods from only pictures and the supplies provided. The team that comes closest to the original gets to go home with a prize! And everyone gets to eat their creations at the end - if you dare! This team event is a perfect chance to invite a friend to the library! Registration for this program is full. This event is specifically planned for students in grades 4-8. Older/younger siblings cannot be accommodated

Get ready for part two of the Emerald City story by singing along to your favorite tunes, crafting your own enchanted accessories, and enjoying Wicked-themed games and treats. Whether you’re "Popular" or "Defying Gravity," this party is the perfect prelude to Halloween fun! Costumes encouraged—come dressed as your favorite character!

Give old dolls a monstrous makeover at Zombie Barbies! Bring your own Barbies or use one of ours and transform them with paint, glue, and creepy accessories—perfect for Halloween or any horror-loving creator.

Ryan “The Bug Man” Bridge is a regular visitor here at Fredricksen Library! He brings his LIVE insects and arthropods to the library to teach our families about Entomology in a fun, engaging, and hands-on program. Join us again this year to learn about these amazing creatures! All ages. No registration required.
Join us THIS SATURDAY FROM 10 AM TO NOON to celebrate FALL! This event is for all ages. We will have games, crafts, snacks, a cake/cupcake walk, cornhole, photo-ops, scarecrow making, and more!
