Listen to your art camp - Children jumping happily in the air with splashes of color all around them.

Your art is waiting for you! Explore colors, art activities, and styles of art to create projects with Pop Art, Op Art, and a Minimalism sculpture. We will then have an art show to display the works created during camp! Registration is required and can be found here or by calling the library at 717-532-4508.

Nature is all around! Join us as we explore plants and animals around the library, at the stream and read books about wild animals. Get up close with amazing animal artifacts, nature art and more! Registration is required and can be found here or by calling the library at 717-532-4508.

Summer Concert on the Lawn - Shea Quinn

Join us on Fredricksen’s lawn all summer as we welcome talented performers for an evening of music and song. We’ll close out our Summer Concert Series with everyone’s local favorite – Shea Quinn. In keeping with our Summer Reading theme of All Together Now, Shea will bring the house down with a Beatles tribute! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets! We will have food trucks onsite beginning at 6 pm including: 717 Tacos, Kona Ice and Philadelphia Cheesesteak Co. on the Roll.  All concerts are free to the public and held on the west lawn next to the lower parking lot. No registration necessary. Sponsored by McCormick Family Foundation.

Summer Concert on the Lawn - Trinidad & Tobago Steel Drum Orchestra

Join us on Fredricksen’s lawn all summer as we welcome talented performers for an evening of music and song. We will kick off summer with our annual concert with Trinidad & Tobago Baltimore Steel Orchestra as they bring a touch of the Caribbean to the library. This stunning group, named Baltimore's official steel drum band, are masters of the steel drum. Their vivacious tropical music rounds out a lively show for all ages!

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets! Our Teen Advisory Group will be selling popcorn and refreshments or feel free to bring your own. All concerts are free to the public. Concerts are held on the west lawn next to the lower parking lot. No registration necessary. Sponsored by McCormick Family Foundation.
