Kick off Summer with us as we bring back our Summer Reading Kickoff Party! The fun begins at 5 pm!  

5 pm – 8:30 pm: Fantastic Food Trucks (717 Taco, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, and Sarah’s Creamery), Awesome Activities including: Guessing Games for All Ages with spectacular prizes, Super Sidewalk Chalk, Terrific Teen Tie-Dye Tent, Top-notch Teen Prizes Wheel, Cool Coastal Crafts for Children, FREE popcorn and more!

7:00 pm – 8:30 pm: Start your summer with a bang! Our Summer Concerts on the Lawn are back and we’re thrilled to kick them off with our favorite steel drum band, Trinidad & Tobago Baltimore Steel Orchestra! Sponsored by the McCormick Family Foundation.

July 1 - July 10
Our annual Teens Create Contest gives teens a chance to show off their artistic talents in fan fiction and short story writing, poetry, painting, illustration and photography. Submit your creative works July 1 - 10. Judging will take place July 11 - 15. The winner in each category will receive $50 cash. This program is for teens ages 13 - 18. Registration begins May 15.

Can you solve the mystery and escape from the Bermuda Triangle? Bring your friends and find out. This program will be held after hours on the upper level of the library. This program is for teens ages 13 - 18. Registration begins May 15.

6 pm - 8 pm Outdoors on the Lawn
Get creative and paint with us outdoors! In keeping with our summer theme of "Oceans of Possibilities" we will do splatter paint with ocean creature silhouettes. We'll supply everything you need - just bring your excitement and creativity. This program is for teens ages 13 - 18. Registration begins May 15.

We will meet up in the Kunkel Creation Station to make a cool project using our amazing machines and gadgets. This program is for teens ages 13-18. Registration begins May 15.
