Learn about Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software that "reads" your resume and may be preventing you from hearing back from an employer. Please have a digital or hard copy of your resume available for up-to-date and targeted industry standards.

Find out what services and programs are available through Cumberland County’s Office of Veterans Affairs. There will be time for Q & A and to schedule appointments. Registration is not required.

Need hands-on help with your smartphone, tablet, laptop or e-reader? Trying to download an app or program and getting stuck? Want to use free library media resources like eBooks and audiobooks from Libby? Sign up for a thirty-minute Device Advice session for in person assistance. Bring your personal tablet, laptop, smartphone, or e-reader with you. Make sure you have all passwords you might need during the session. Registration is required.
BCC staff will be available VIRTUALLY (via Zoom) for one-on-one assistance to create or update your resume and share general employment and career resources. This is a VIRTUAL session during BCC closed hours. (For more Virtual or In-person date and time options, see Career Guidance Sessions.)
After you register, you will be contacted by a BCC Specialist via email with a Zoom link to join the session 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled 30-minute time slot.
