Register to pick up a kit filled with activities including a DIY mason jar aquarium, DIY animal keychains, an embroidery project, and book accessories to help you dream of your next travel adventure! Registrants will receive an email with instructions on how to pick up their kit the week of June 14.

Join us for a teens-only paint party! A painting project related to our summer Tails & Tales theme will be explained step-by-step by our art instructor. You’ll have your very own completed masterpiece in about 30 minutes plus a mandala canvas to complete on your own.
All materials & supplies will be available to pick up from the Library before the event. Space is limited and registration is required. Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link, password, and further instructions. To participate, you'll need a computer or mobile device with a microphone and optional camera.

A tiny art show is a community art project bringing miniature art to unique spaces. Just register for your appropriate category and then pick up your Grab & Go Bag with all the supplies you will need to make a miniature piece of art! Bags will include paint, paint brushes, a mini easel, a mini canvas and a small piece of air-dry clay. You can paint, sculpt, or both! Near the end of January, we will collect your art to display in our Mini Art Show where you can win an Amazon gift card! We will have 3 categories: Adult, Teen, and Child. Registration begins December 1! Cost: $3 per entry.

Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theatre company based in Asheville, NC is going virtual with their heralded production of Struggle for Freedom: The Life of Dr. King. This inspiring production has received nationwide acclaim. Struggle for Freedom is a 45-minute production that seeks to honor the American Civil Rights Movement. The life and work of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. provides the backdrop to scenes that recreate the Montgomery bus boycott, the March on Washington, the Woolworth Sit-ins and much more. With excerpts of famous speeches, Civil Rights era songs and a variety of characters, this moving production is best appreciated by grades 3 through adult.
