One Seed Grows Kids Garden Club

Get ready to plant, harvest, and tend to our One Seed Grows children’s educational vegetable garden. This family program has hands-on activities focused on food, farming, gardening, and nutrition. Please wear closed toe and closed heel shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.

Tuesday, May 14, 10 am
Join gerontologist, Glen Dunbar, in this informative workshop helping you to prepare for care options, advanced health care directives, and why it is smart to make plans for serious illness even if you intend to live forever. The presenter has graduate degrees from the Center for Aging Studies at the University of North Texas and the School of End-of-Life Studies at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Before retiring, he was a career policy specialist for state and federal entities devoted to aging issues. No registration required.
