Join us on Saturday, June 29 at 2:00 pm for a special program - Civil War Medicine & Battlefield Triage, a presentation on the events encountered by a wounded soldier after the battle. It conveys the experiences he would endure from leaving the battlefield, the initial medical “treatment,” surgery, medicines, recovery care, and the “dead zone.” This will be an informative, interactive, hands-on demonstration with real as well as repro medical instruments, bandages, medicines and other artifacts.
