Yes - the dogs are back! Specially trained dogs from K-PETs will be at the library to listen to children read aloud. Bring a book or two and read to a dog for 15 minutes. This program is intended for children who may be shy or reluctant to read aloud to practice reading independently. Recommended Ages, 6-12.

This program will take place outside in our Reading Plaza (lower level), but please check-in at the Children's Desk first. In cases of inclement weather, it will be moved indoors and dogs will be socially distanced. Properly worn masks are required indoors AND outdoors. Please only register for ONE fifteen minute session per child. This is a very popular program and we want to give as many children as possible a chance to participate.
