Exploring seeds at the Shippensburg library

The Shippensburg Public Library provided a children's program for 17 children, ages 4 to 9, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the new programming room. Sarah Cornman, youth services assistant, read Ruth Heller's picture book, ‘Reason for a Flower.’

Civics education program planned at Bosler Library

Cumberland Valley Rising will host a free, nonpartisan civics education event on local government and elections.
The event will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 14 at the Bosler Memorial Library.

‘Farmers’ Market on the Lawn’ to return May 4

The “Farmers’ Market on the Lawn” at the John Graham Public Library begins its 8th season on Saturday, May 4.

Hundreds hunt for eggs at the Shippensburg library

Saturday’s abundant sunshine and warmer temperatures were great for lots of outdoor activities, especially an Easter Egg hunt! The Shippensburg Public Library held its annual egg-stra special event with more than 200 children in attendance.

Joseph T. Simpson Library: Online Auction Fundraiser

The Joseph T. Simpson Public Library is a community center for learning and leisure offering free Wi-Fi, use of computers with high-speed internet, mobile Wi-Fi hotspots to borrow, eBooks, eAudiobooks, regular and large print books, magazines/newspapers, and lots of fun programs for children, teens, and adults.
