Please join our Summer Learning Program this summer - we make sure that reading is extra-rewarding for all ages!
Research has shown that school children who spend part of their summer reading are more likely to maintain their reading skills when they return to school in the fall.
For adults, reading reduces stress, keeps the mind sharp, and improves memory!
New This Year! Adopt a Summer Learner!
Our Summer Learning Program instills a love of reading in children, helps them become better readers, and ultimately lifelong learners. Children have an opportunity to borrow materials, attend educational and recreational programs and complete a variety of activities at home or in the community to earn incentive prizes. Adopt a Summer Learner (PDF, 1 page, 199KB) today and together we can keep kids reading and learning all summer long. Your gift will encourage children and parents to continue reading together this summer and it will open the door to a lifelong love of reading for pleasure. Donate online or fill out and return the donation form (PDF, 1 page, 126 KB).
Our Summer Learning Program runs from June 2 - August 3, 2019.
All ages will be tracking their reading and actvities online with Beanstack this year. If you signed up for an account last summer, just log in and sign up for this year's program.
