“Born in the USA”, “Pink Cadillac”, “Thunder Road,” "Badlands," "The Rising," "Born to Run," all songs written by Bruce Springsteen and in our memories. Bruce, one of the truly great songwriters and performers in the history of what Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie called "people's music," is turning 70 this month. What better way to celebrate than to hear and sing his songs? The very talented Doug Morris (guitar and vocals) will be back (most recently here in May celebrating the music of Pete Seeger) to perform some of Bruce's classic songs from across Bruce's 45 year career and also to share some commentaries on Bruce, his songs, and his impact. He will be joined by Elena Rossetto on vocals. Singing along is encouraged!
The program is free, but registration is required! Interested parties can register in person, by calling the library at 766-0171, or emailing the library at email@example.com
