Nourishment comes not just from what we eat but how we eat. Registered dietitian Courtney Hager will teach you techniques to begin mindful eating, a practice which involves bringing awareness to the eating experience. When we are in tune with our own eating experience, we can improve our relationship with food, re-learn hunger and fullness cues, and make choices that make eating satisfying and joyful again. 

 

The program is free, but registration is required!  Interested parties can register in person, by calling the library at 766-0171, or emailing the library at simpson@cumberlandcountylibraries.org
