Gardening with Nature: Our Best Plants

7:00 pm 8:00 pm in the Community Room, Lower Level

Fredricksen Library has teamed up with Penn State Master Gardeners to bring you a series of workshops that will show you how to garden with nature.  Penn State Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by Penn State Extension to provide research-based home gardening information to the public.

Knowing what summer flowers do well in our area will make it easier to create the look you want this season. Various plants are trialed at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden, at the Claremont Nursing Home in Carlisle. Learn about the annuals that did well, and those that didn't as we view pictures of the plants trailed, along with ratings they were given on blooms, etc.

Cost per workshop is $5.00. More topics offered on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Registration for all programs is now open. To Register Contact: Penn State Extension, Cumberland County 1-877-345-0691.
