2021 Tails and Tales Adult Summer Reading Program
This reading challenge begins June 4 and ends August 27.

If you have registered in past years, you can log in and register for this year's program. You can register all of the participants in your family, including yourself, at this same link. NOTE: If you forget your password, try "beanstack" since we often suggest using this for a password. Otherwise, email the library at firstname.lastname@example.org to have your password reset.
How the Reading Challenge Works
Beginning June 4, read 7 books of your choice, choosing from at least 4 different “Tails and Tales” categories listed below. Audiobooks and eAudiobooks may be used.
Participants who read the required 7 books will receive a small prize plus an entry into a drawing for 1 of 3 Amazon gift cards.

- Fiction – Main Character is an animal
- Folktale, Fable or Myth
- Mystery or Thriller
- Science Fiction or Fantasy
- Non-Fiction – Hero is a pet/animal
- Non-fiction about wildlife
- “Nest” (Home) Improvement
- Food Chain (Cooking)
- Adventure or Travel
- Biography or Autobiography
- Other Non-Fiction
Two ways to record your book information
You can either record book information by printing out this reading log (pdf, 2 pages, 1.12 MB), or you may participate in this program completely online using the Beanstack website or app.
Submit book reviews for more chances to win
Get chances to win weekly gift card prizes by completing book reviews for titles you read. The gift cards are to a variety of local businesses, so be sure to submit up to two review every week for more chances to win. You may submit reviews online using Beanstack or by dropping off written reviews to the library after it opens. Here is a Book Review Form you may print (pdf, 2 pages, 139 KB) and complete and drop off at the library. Weekly drawings begin June 11 and end on August 20.
Submit your book logs between August 13 and August 27
The adult reading program ends at 5 pm on Friday, August 27, 2020.
Either drop off your completed paper reading log at the library, or enter your books using the Beanstack app or website.
Everyone who submits a completed log will receive a small gift.
Those who have read the required 7 books will be entered into the drawing for 3 Amazon gift cards.
