Spreading the word- Celebrate the Book brings authors and aspiring writers together in Carlisle

The line between readers and writers blurs at Celebrate the Book.
 
Readers can hear from and visit a number of authors from local writers to New York Times bestselling authors, but those with a dream of becoming a writer themselves have plenty of opportunity to delve into the craft.

Carlisle middle school student publishes her first novel

A sixth-grader at Wilson Middle School, the North Middleton Township girl started writing her historical fiction novel when she was a third-grader at Crestview Elementary School.

 

The book was self-published this August through Kindle Direct Publishing and copies are available on Amazon, at Whistleshop Bookshop in Carlisle and at the Bookery in Bosler Library.
