IMAGINE YOUR STORY! Register your child for the Summer Learning Program, and create your summer's story with us all summer long through fairy tales, myths, and legends!
Children, birth through entering fifth grade, will earn badges and prizes while reading and participating in programs and activities throughout the summer in the Children's Summer Learning Program at Simpson Public Library.
You will earn a reading badge each time you read and log 150 minutes
an activities badge each time you complete four activities.
Each time you earn a badge for reading or doing activities, you will receive a prize. The goal is to earn sixteen badges from reading, doing activities, or a combination of both throughout the summer. When you have earned five prizes we will call or email you with instructions for picking up your prizes.
Paper logs found in the program guide (PDF, 20 pages, 2MB) may be used for children to keep track of their reading and activities, but information must be entered into Beanstack in order to receive prizes.
There are many activities from which to choose, including a number of library events and programs, which we encourage you to attend. Please register online for these events and programs. Due to regulations regarding COVID-19 and the safety of our staff and patrons, these programs may be cancelled or moved online. Please check the events calendar for up-to-date information.
All reading and activities must be logged into Beanstack no later than August 1, 2020 in order to receive prizes. Prizes can be redeemed through Saturday, August 8, 2020.
