Adults are invited to jump into the Summer Learning Program as well! We're keeping the adult Summer Learning Program simple: read some books for a chance to earn a prize! Each book you read is also an entry in the weekly prize drawings and the grand prize drawing at the end of the summer. If you're looking for an extra challenge, complete a bingo sheet by reading a book from each category and attending a Living Room Conversation program on July 14 or 26. Turn in your completed bingo sheet for a special prize!

Every time you finish a book, log it on the Beanstack Tracker mobile app or on the Beanstack website to earn one badge per book. Those who earned badges are entered into the weekly drawing for a prize.

Registration opens on May 1, and you can start earning badges from June 1 - August 15. Reading logs are included in the program guide. Pick one up at the library after June 1. 

How to earn chances for prizes:

1. Register on the Beanstack app or Beanstack website and choose 2023 Adult Summer Read Challenge. 
2. Every time you finish a book, log the title on Beanstack to earn one badge and one chance at the weekly drawing.
3. If you want to, you can complete the bingo sheet for an additonal prize.     
4. Each book you record on the bingo sheet can also be logged on Beanstack for entries into the weekly prize drawings.

How to track your reading and earn badges:

• Update your reading progress on Beanstack. Type in the name of your book and you earn a badge.
• Download the free mobile app, Beanstack Tracker App and simply scan your book's ISBN barcode.
• Use a paper log. Just remember, if you want to be entered into the drawings for the weekly prizes, these must be transferred to the Beanstack program. Any staff member can help you with this.
• Each book you read and log is an automatic entry in the weekly grand prize drawings.
• Turn in your completed bingo sheet. 

Weekly Prizes: Drawings will be held every Monday for prizes that include books, gift cards to local businesses, and other fun bookish items! Even if you only read and log one book, your name will always be in the weekly drawing.

Grand Prize: Everyone who logs at least one book will be entered into the grand prize drawing for your choice of an Amazon or Barnes & Noble gift card or a Kindle Paperwhite eReader.
