If you love animals, you will love this program! Join us on Zoom on October 13 to hear the inspiring story of Louise, the scared little Beagle who escaped from her foster mom on the Carlisle Pike and was found seventeen days later. The story of this little doggie inspired her foster mom to write a book about her adventure.
Sharon Cree never aspired to become a writer, but being a teacher for 29 years gave her the confidence to tell the story and was determined to get the book published. She is a fun speaker and will tell us some of the details of Louise’s ordeal, what it was like to venture in to the publishing world (and how you can too), as well as what it has been like to foster over 80 Beagles through the Furry Friends Network. Sharon will be selling signed copies of her book, Louise on the Lam, A Foster Mom’s Tale of Love, Rescue and a Tail on the Loose and is donating 20% of the profits to the Simpson Library. You can stop in at the library to get your copy.
Registration: Please register online. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the Zoom meeting.
