Library Giving Day

Library Giving Day

Wednesday, April 3 is Library Giving Day, an event that gives library lovers like you a chance to elevate and support your local library. This year, all donations will go to the Capital Campaign which is raising funds to renovate the Learning and Book Sale Center at 45 West Allen Street, Mechanicsburg.

The new Learning and Book Sale Center will enhance Simpson’s services by providing additional event and meeting space as well as be the permanent home for the Friends of the Library book sales. It will increase the Library’s usable space by an additional 8,600 square feet and is located just a few blocks from the existing library! The building you know and love on North Walnut Street will remain the hub of our library services.

For over 60 years, Simpson Public Library has been a vibrant place for the community of Mechanicsburg and the surrounding area to learn, grow, and thrive. We are a lifeline to many, connecting people to opportunities, resources, and assistance no matter what. Your financial gift will help equip Simpson Library to adapt to the changing times and growing need for our many critical services.
