K.I.D. celebrates the accomplishments of kid inventors and encourages the creativity of future kid inventors. Kid Inventors’ Day is also Benjamin Franklin’s birthday. Do you know why? Franklin invented the world’s first swim flippers when he was 12 years old!  He is a great role model for every child who dreams of making something no one has seen before.
