Art in the Stacks: 1st Floor Showcase

Featuring Artist J.L. Schultz in the Main Floor Showcase
In May, artist J.L. Schultz will display her exhibit titled Pattern Play in the Main Floor Showcase. The exhibit will show 7 works of ceramic art. The artwork is abstract and features circles, triangles, rectangles and squares. All works are made of clay. J.L. Schultz received a studio art degree from New York University and a Masters in Fine Art from University of Pennsylvania. Both an artist and educator, she has shown nationally in galleries and art centers. The artist was a contributor to the Visual Poetry Project in downtown Greensboro and Art in Odd Places: Greensboro. Ms. Schultz's innovative work can be seen in the South no.100 edition of New American Painting. She enjoys creating unique, funky and functional ceramics.
Art in the Stacks is a monthly gallery series at the New Cumberland Public Library in partnership with the New Cumberland Collective. Each month will feature a new local artist exhibit in the library's gallery spaces.
