Fredricksen Library has teamed up with Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County to bring you a series of workshops about creating a garden while preserving a healthy environment. This month's topic is Starting a Home Vegetable Garden. Join Maureen Cantwell, Penn State Master Gardener, to learn the basics of a backyard vegetable garden from planning the site and choosing the vegetables to the progression of planting, weeding, and harvesting.
