7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Ruggaber Community Room, Lower Level
Fredricksen Library has teamed up with Penn State Master Gardeners to bring you a series of workshops that will show you how to garden with nature. Trees are an easy and effective way to beautify and improve your property. They provide protection from the sun and wind, enhance privacy, and increase property values. However, care must be taken when planning for and planting trees, so that they have the best chance for survival, growth and maturity, especially since trees are more difficult and expensive to replace than other landscape plants. This presentation will also include a hands-on demonstration of planting a tree on the library property.
Cost per workshop is $5.00. To register Contact: Penn State Extension, Cumberland County 717-240-6500 or 1-888-697-0371 x6500.
