Fredricksen Library has teamed up with Penn State Master Gardeners to bring you a series of workshops that will show you how to garden with nature. Penn State Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by Penn State Extension to provide research-based home gardening information to the public.
Questions about pruning are among those most frequently asked of Master Gardeners. Join Pat Welfley, Penn State Master Gardener, to learn HOW and WHEN to prune woody ornamentals, including both evergreen and deciduous flowering trees and shrubs. A hands-on demonstration will be included. Bring your pruning questions, photos, and samples. Workshops are $5.00 each. Please register by calling 1-877-345-0691. Walk-ins are accepted if space is available.
In partnership with the Master Gardeners, this year's series will meet the third Tuesday of every month through October.
