I started coming to Fredricksen with my family four years ago. As a home school student and a budding writer, I was very happy with Fredricksen's rich selection of books, particularly with the filmmaking, screenwriting, and Hollywood history section. Had it not been for Fredricksen's rich selection, I never would have had the information I needed to write my first novel,Saving Metropolis , at the age of 17.

There are many resources, particularly the older memoirs on Hollywood history, that are difficult to find online, much less discovered there, but Fredricksen made them easily accessible. The friendly, helpful staff would always point me in the right direction when I was looking for something. Fredricksen has been a wonderful library of which to be a patron!
