Foreign Film Friday: Blancanieves

Friday, November 11

2:00 pm to 3:45 pm in the Ruggaber Community Room, Lower Level

FROM SPAIN:  Once upon a time there was a little girl who never knew her mother. She learned her father's art, but was hated by her evil stepmother. One day she ran away with a troupe of dwarves and became a legend. Set in southern Spain in the 1920s, Blancanieves is a tribute to silent films. Smartly written and beautiful to behold, it uses its classic source material to offer a dark tale, delightfully told. Rated PG-13. No registration necessary. Sponsored by Jane and Bill Murray.
