Travel the world during Fredricksen Library’s multicultural festival. Discover different cultures through music and activities. Get a taste of the world through food trucks and vendors from different cultures. Stop by for children’s storytime in French, Spanish, Hindi and more. Come celebrate different cultures in this family-friendly event.

  • 1pm French Travel in the Community Room
    The Fredricksen Library French Club shares a travel photo collection. Presented in French.

  • 1pm Storytime in the Children’s Storytime Nook
    Spanish storytime. Elephant and Piggy We Are In A Book! ¡Estamos en un libro! by Mo Willems

  • 1:30pm Storytime & Conservation Education with local author, Julie Ilondo in the Community Room
    Reading of Meeting the mountain gorilla and learn about endangered species that can only be found in the wild in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa.

  • 2pm Celtic Harp Music in the Community Room - PENDING
    Performed by Mary-Teresa of Seasons

  • 2pm Storytime in the Children’s Storytime Nook

  • 3pm Afro-Brazilian martial art Capoeira on the Side Lawn (In case of rain the program will be held in the Community Room)

    Korean storytime with Sarah. Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister

  • 3:30pm Yoga for Families in the Community Room
    Led by Jignasha Vyas

  • 3:30pm Storytime with local author, Pauline Atilite in the Children’s Storytime Nook
    Reading of GUESS AND LEARN Magic Words: Please, Sorry, Thank You, and More!

  • 4pm Classical Indian Music Mini Concert in the Community Room
    Performed by the Society for Indian Music and Arts - Harrisburg
