Meeting Room

meeting roomThe Cleve J. Fredricksen Library provides meeting room space for library programs and for other meetings and programs of an informational, educational, cultural or civic nature. The library provides this space as a public service but does not endorse the view or opinions of groups utilizing these facilities.  


Meetings held at the library are considered public meetings and open to all wishing to attend. Library sponsored or library oriented scheduling has priority over scheduling of outside organizations.

Please find the Meeting Room Application HERE and attach the completed form to the library’s EMAIL at All applications and organizations are subject to Meeting Room Policy rules and availabilities for approval. All meeting room applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Incomplete applications will not be considered.    


Meeting Room Users and Fees:  The library allows the following types of groups to reserve the Community room on a first-come, first-served basis or (in case of conflict) according to the following order:

#1 Library Board/Staff/Friends $0 Board meeting, Library programs, Friends meeting
#2 Non-profit (in area) At least 50% of group’s membership from service area (Camp Hill, Lemoyne, Wormleysburg, East Pennsboro, Hampden, Lower Allen) $0 if booked quarterly, $100 to book for calendar year Scout Troops, Student Organizations, Local religious or civic groups and clubs
#3 Non-profit (outside area) 50% of group’s membership from outside the service area $20/hour or $50/3 hours Same as above, regional  and national chapter groups
#4 For-profit (institutional) Classes, workshops and meetings that require a fee to attend are not permitted $100/half day or $200/full day Political organizations, national/regional organizations, companies
#5 Private* Non-public event $150/3-hour event Parties, weddings, etc. (case-by-case basis)

*Private parties may reserve the room in consideration of the following:

a.    The party occurs during normal library hours

b.    One adult is on hand for every 8 children (18 years and younger)

c.    The clean-up and damage expectations are met as outlined below

d.    A fee of $150 will be charged for 3 hours of use and $50 for each additional hour
