2020 Imagine Your Story Adult Summer Reading Program
This reading challenge begins June 6 and ends August 28
To participate, please register online using the Beanstack app or website: ameliagivinlibrary.beanstack.org
If you have registered in past years, you can log in and register for this year's program. You can register all of the participants in your family, including yourself, at this same link. NOTE: If you forget your password, try "beanstack" since we often suggest using this for a password. Otherwise, email the library at firstname.lastname@example.org to have your password reset.
How the Reading Challenge Works
Beginning June 6, read 7 books of your choice, choosing from at least 4 different “Imagine Your Story” categories listed below. Audiobooks and eAudiobooks may be used.
Participants who read 7 books will receive a small prize plus an entry into a drawing for 1 of 3 Amazon gift cards.
• Fantasy or Science Fiction
• Fairy Tale, Folk Tale, Legend, Mythology
• Mystery or Thriller
• A Book that includes a castle, knight, dragon or princess
• A book with a hero or heroine
• How to enhance your “castle” (home improvement)
• Adventure Travel
• A book about potions (recipes, gardening, healing)
• Local History
• Use a Library Online Database
Two ways to record your book information
You can either record book information by printing out this reading log (pdf, 2 pages, 362 KB), or you may participate in this program completely online using the Beanstack website or app.
Submit book reviews for more chances to win
Get chances to win weekly gift card prizes by completing book reviews for titles you read. The gift cards are to a variety of local businesses, so be sure to submit up to two review every week for more chances to win. You may submit reviews online using Beanstack or by dropping off written reviews to the library after it opens. Here is a Book Review Form you may print (pdf, 1 page, 152 KB) and complete and drop off at the library. Weekly drawings begin June 12 and end on August 21.
Submit your book logs between August 3 and August 28
The adult reading program ends at 5 pm on Friday, August 28, 2020.
Either drop off your completed paper reading log at the library, or enter your books using the Beanstack app or website.
Everyone who submits a completed log will receive a small gift.
Those who have read the required 7 books will be entered into the drawing for 3 Amazon gift cards.
