Has your child experienced a loss or do you anticipate one? Whether it be a loved pet or a loved family member, children experience grief in many different ways. This 4 part program is designed to discuss life and death in child friendly terms, discussions, songs and activities. The program will focus on life, death, grief feelings, funerals and memorials as well as healthy ways to help your child process their feelings. This program is as much for the caregiver as it is for the child. This 4 part program is designed and will be presented by representatives of the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, a local non-profit organization that provides grief education and support programs for individuals and families who are grieving the death of a loved one. The Drew Michael Taylor Foundation will present a 4 part educational series on life lessons geared towards both grieving and non-grieving preschool aged children and their caregivers. We will read books, sing songs, play games, and create art.
