The Amelia Givin Libary has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 2004, but wanted to have the facility recognized at the local level as well. The library is in the process of applying for a Pennsylvania State Historical Marker as well. If granted, the library will achieve recognition at the local, state and national levels, a very unique series of designations.
