This is the firt of two history presentations this month by Randy Watts, local historian, writer and publisher.
If you have ever seen a Mount Holly brick or admired local houses built with these bricks, this presentation will give you a new appreciation for their origins. Randy Watts will provide an introduction to the formation of the clay reserves along Mountain Creek and provide a detailed review of the local mines, clay works and brick plants.
