Public Libraries Closed March 14 - until further Notice

Under the direction of Governor Tom Wolf, the Office of Commonwealth Libraries has instructed all public libraries in Pennsylvania to close beginning Saturday, March 14 until further notice in an effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This will extend until at least April 30 due to Governor Wolf's stay-at-home order for Cumberland County.

Due dates for all materials have been extended. We will continue to monitor and extend loan periods as needed. Holds and interlibrary loan items will wait for you.

You will not accrue additional fines while we are closed.

We adjusted our policy. If you owe less than $25, you can use all online resources and place holds.

With your library card, you can access free online resources 24/7 including e-books and audiobooksmovies, and databases including magazines, investment information, homework help and more.

Please continue to browse our site. Our libraries are thinking of new ways to bring you services every day - keep checking back!
