On Thursday, July 11, at 7:00 pm, teens may compete in a LEGO Contest! Read the Contest Rules for more information.
LEGO creations will be judged on creativity and how well the creations fit the Summer Reading Theme of Beneath the Surface.
Rules for the LEGO Contest
- This is for Middle School and High School students only.
- The contestant may bring up to 200 disassembled LEGO pieces and a platform board or baseplate. Mini-figures are allowed, but each will count as 3 pieces. Accessories for the mini-figures are allowed and will not count toward the number of 3.
- The contestant will have up to 45 minutes to build a structure that best displays the Teen Summer Reading Theme: Underneath the Surface.
- The contestant should have a 3”x5” filing card with a title for the structure and a short statement of how it fits the theme.
The judges will have time to look at the entries during a refreshment break and will then announce the winner.
Ages: Middle School and High School students only.
